Todd Thompson

Todd Thompson is a piano-playing singer/songwriter from Miami Florida. He founded the original rock band The Dharma Bomb there. In 2000 the Miami New Times named them “Best Pop Rock Band” and in 2004 the New Times named Todd “Best Piano Man.” He is currently a professor of audio engineering at the University of Texas and is a founding member of the Austin roots rock band The Memphis Strange.

Chuck Brown

A 30-year veteran of the Texas music scene, Chuck has been spotted at close to a dozen musical events over the decades; including shows by such illustrious artists as Prince, Rush, Tool and Leo Kottke. Witnesses described his behavior as “odd”, “rhythmically chaotic” and “majestic”. He started playing bass after being late to his first high school band meeting to find every other instrument had already been taken. His relationship with the instrument was once described by Chuck as “tragically co-dependent”. He also loves peach tea.

Jamison Toomey

Originally from the North East has been a resident of Austin for 20 years. He is an accomplished recording engineer/producer, musician and teacher . In 2006, he opened “Speaking Rock Studio” in NW Austin, where he has supported and mentored many of Austin's talented songwriters, bands and performers. A consummate band leader and side-man who has worked with some of Austin’s finest talent, including, Stephen Bruton, Gumbo Ya Ya, Cindy Cashdollar and many more.

Michael “Lefty” Lefkowitz

Hailing from Lubbock, TX Lefty has lived and played music in Austin since 2000. He has played/toured/recorded with Carolyn Wonderland, Kevin Galloway, Doug Strahan, and Will Dupuy; and many others. He loves good whisky, his family, and his dogs….mostly not in that order. Mostly.
